CFE Equipment is hiring a branch manager for our Elm City, North Carolina office with corporate experience. The ideal candidate is a leader who empowers their team to achieve goals and has proven experience in growing businesses.

The Branch Manager oversees the Parts, Service and Rental departments and the overall day to day operations. The Branch Manager is responsible for the leadership, strategic and tactical business development; managing customer relationships, hiring, motivating and training employees; profit and loss management; time and productivity management; and the overall performance of the site.

Company provides:

  • Oversee operations of the Parts, Service and Rental departments
  • Assign and direct all work performed in the branch and to supervise all areas of operation
  • Manage staff, address personnel issues, and foster a positive environment to ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation
  • Manage budget and operating expenses of the branch
  • Manage and maintain the financial health, growth and GP of the branch
  • Reviewing and help close the billing/open work-in-process (WIP)
  • Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
  • Work with sales team to maintain current customer base and grow branch volumes by establishing new customers through aftermarket business (Parts, Service and Rental)
  • Visit potential new customers and larger customers to maintain ongoing contact and positive relationships, and to actively promote the quality products and services of the company
  • Oversee warranties/campaigns/quotes
  • Oversee and reduce service policy/service comeback/rework
  • Produce and submit parts, work in progress, and tech productivity/efficiency/OT reports
  • Oversee and adhere to criteria set by the Aftermarket Excellence Program (AEP)


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, or a related field
  • 10 or more years management experience
  • Industry experience a plus
  • Process driven and detail-oriented
  • Self-directed problem solver
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Corporate management experience a must
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Results driven and customer focused
  • Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations plus
